I met Ed in 2001 when I was racing a Grenade boat. A mate of mine told me to speak to Ed at Sport Engines, and he will get you going okay. I was running a 486 supercharged Chevrolet engine with intercooler/carburettorred (nothing computerised here). Ed sat me down and we began by first of all getting it to reliable.  “First we need to finish then we’ll worry about finishing 1st.”  That was 8 years ago.

Sure we’ve had some break downs but that’s motor sport.  Ed is always available and doesn’t bullshit.  If you’re going to tinker with the engine don’t go to Sport Engines. We’ve been going to Sport Engines for 7 years and just finished our 600 cubic inch alloy PSI blown masterpiece called ‘Crazy Horse’.
